What is a platform family?

A platform family is a group of vehicles that share a similar body control module (BCM/UCH) and electronic infrastructure. Vehicles in the same family often support similar comfort configuration channels.

The real coverage in the app

The app computes ECU variant, category and channel counts for each Renault family from real catalog data. The coverage figures on this page are fetched live from the API when available; no value is fabricated.

How are categories organized?

Coverage is split into categories such as body-bcm and comfort-lighting. Each category shows the number of configurable comfort channels in that family; the full list and detail live in the app.

What we do not show

This page shows only names, categories and counts. Internal details such as offset, bit position, mask, security/gating mechanics or “how coding is performed” are never disclosed anywhere.
